MMLIB is an electronic filing software for Windows. Images and documents can be imported from image scanner, digital camera/video, or PC's clipboard. Large amount of documents like newspapers, articles, memos, photos, and Web pages can be stored into a structured database. Once those documents are stored in the image database, it can be easily searched, printed, or e-mailed.

MMLIB is in cooperation with our acoustic measurement software, DSSF3, RAL, RAD, and RAE. Program manuals, reference documents, measurement data and graph images are easily stored to construct a measurement database.

New features are:

1. Easy data search by the folder information display in the list view

In the previous version, it was difficult to find specific images in the folder. Now it becomes easy by seeing the name of the first data in folders in the list view. Check the "First Data Name" from the View menu > Folder Display Item, then select a library (inbox) in the tree view. Folders stored in that library are displayed in the list view with the name of the first data in the folder.

2. Full text search

Now, data can be searched not only by the keyword, but also by all text data such as name, comments, or creator. All data including the matched text are searched easily.

The Multimedia Library Manager (MMLIB) is like a virtual filing cabinet for images and other documents that you want to store in a structured database. Images can be imported in a number of different ways, including directly from a video camera, a scanner, or straight from an existing file. MMLIB allows you to attach textual data to an image, for example you can give it a title, author, comments, search keywords etc... This means that your database doesn't just contain images; it also contains a lot of meaningful information about the images, making it easy to find and identify what you are looking for. There is also a keyword search feature, which is a really great idea, it allows you to search through your library for specific words, and then displays the relevant images. No longer will you have to look through endless images to find the one you are looking for. MMLIB comes with a good internal image viewer, which allows you to scroll, zoom and rotate the images. Another useful feature is the ability to automatically email the images to people; it can even limit the image sizes before sending them, preventing the recipient from having to download very large email attachments. I can think of many occasions when I have been emailed huge, scanned images just because the sender didnft know how to resize them first. Another thing I liked this program is the ability to set passwords and restrictions on the images, protecting any sensitive information there may be within the documents. MMLIB is a very useful program for filing large amounts of images in a structured format, this would be invaluable for something like a research project. I give it 5 stars out of 5.

MLIBV Free viewer for MMLIB file

MLIBV is a viewer for the image database (MMLIB) that can be used with MS Outlook on Windows. It works lightly, stores much amount of picture and text data. You can read it easily and quickly.

It can read the multi-picture files (.mml) created by the MMLIB.
Picture files are compressed with the most suitable format. File is small size and is suitable for sending Email.
